JOHN FASEL, 86, of Traverse City, passed away Jan. 20, 2014.

A funeral service will be held today at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10 a.m., at the Journey Wesleyan Church. Interment with military honors will follow at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.

The family is being served by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

ALEX MATUS, 85, of Interlochen, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, at home.

A Mass from the Order of Christian Burials will be celebrated Monday, Jan. 27, at 11 a.m., with visitation from 10 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. A full obituary will be in Saturday’s edition of the Record-Eagle.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Covell Funeral Home, Traverse City.

JACK LEE TEESDALE, 74, of Kalkaska, passed away at home Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.

Visitation will be Monday, Jan. 27, from 2 to 8 p.m., at Wolfe-O’Neill Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Clearwater Township Cemetery in the spring. A full obituary will be in Saturday’s edition of the Record-Eagle.
