JERRY SAMUEL ADAMS, 72, of Kingsley, formerly of Grand Rapids, died Thursday, Feb. 27, 2014, at home.

Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 19, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery, Kingsley.

The family chose Life Story Funeral Home, Traverse City.

JOYCE E. BATES, 83, of Whitehall, formerly of Lake Ann, died May 3, 2014.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, July 19, at 1 p.m., at the Almira Beach Front Park, Lake Ann.

A memorial celebration for JOHN and LT. GOV. CONNIE BINSFELD will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 19, at the Glen Arbor Township Hall, Glen Arbor. Friends and family are invited to attend.

LEROY “LEE” CHARLES KNUDSON, 54, of Bushnell, Fla., died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, in Florida. He was born Aug. 19, 1959, in Traverse City, the son of David and Thelma (Richards) Knudson.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2014, at the Bennett-Barz Funeral Home, Beulah. Visitation will be held today from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.

The Bennett-Barz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements;

GENILEE OBERPEUL, 85, of Traverse City, passed away July 11, 2014.

Arrangements are pending with Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

CHARLES A. “CHUCK” OXLEY, of Traverse City, died on June 8, 2014, at his residence.

A memorial service for Chuck will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the Presbyterian Church, 701 Westminster Road, Traverse City, MI 49686, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kiwanis Golden K, the Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice.

The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

The family of RUSSELL LEE PIERING would like you to join them in celebrating Russ’ life, a moment for all who knew him to heal and spread the legacy of his life. A memorial gathering will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Crystal Center Front Lawn, 12500 Crystal Mountain Drive, Thompsonville.
