Manistee's Schubert sets course record

Manistee's Kelly Schubert set a course record in the winning the girls race in the Manistee Invitational.

Schubert was timed in 20:17.

Mason County Central edged Benzie Central 56-57 for the title. Benzie, though, was resting many of its top runners. Ludington was a close third with 60 points.

Mason County Central, led by overall winner Jared Lauber, won the boys race with 39 points. Benzie was second with 56.

Lauber finished in 17:17.
