    Traverse City Central recognized Drew Dancer as its Player of the Year in boys cross country at a team banquet Wednesday.

  • XC Roundup: Harbor, Benzie win state titles
    Actions speak louder than words. That could be the motto for the Harbor Springs girls, who successfully defended their Division 4 state cross country championship Saturday at Michigan International Speedway. (Plus more cross country.)

  • Trojan girls head to finals
    Traverse City Central is heading back to the state finals. The defending Division 1 state champion girls will be at Michigan International Speedway to defend their title after finishing third at Saturdays regional at Carson City-Crystal.

  • Huskies take regional titles
    Host Benzie Central hoisted two regional trophies on Saturday.
    The Huskies finished first in both the boys and girls Division 3 regional meets, as part of a full day of cross country.

  • Harbor Springs sweeps regional
    Wolverine senior Jeremy Egas and Maddie Buntin of Harbor Springs were individual medalists Friday in the Division 4 cross country meet at Sports Park in Ellsworth.

  • Manistee's Schubert sets course record
    Manistee's Kelly Schubert set a course record in the winning the girls race in the Manistee Invitational.

  • XC Roundup: Central girls win ER invite
    Julia Otwell and Katie Perkins were the top two placers, leading Traverse City Central to a win in the 18-team Elk Rapids Invitational. (Plus more cross country.)

  • Central, Otwell nail down Big North
    It was a sweep for Traverse City Central in the Big North Conference on Tuesday. The Trojan girls won their third league meet, earned the conference title and had the top overall runner in the Big North, Julia Otwell, who led a dominating finish for Trojans.

  • Hesselink sparks Blue Devils to league title
    Practice makes prefect? Well, it did for Jeff Kalember and his Gaylord Blue Devils on Tuesday.
