Kueny up by four at Women's Open

She fires 66 at Crystal Mountain

THOMPSONVILLE -- Whitehall's Laura Kueny shot an opening round 6-under 66 Monday to grab a four-shot lead in the Michigan PGA Women's Open at Crystal Mountain Resort.

Emma Calderone, Elaine Crosby, Allison Fouch and Katie Kempter are at 2-under 70.

A 21-year-old senior at Michigan State, Kueny did not have a bogey or a three-putt the entire day. She'll be paired with Calderone and Crosby, a two-time winner, today.
