n Attorney Jan M. Geht of Bowerman, Bowden, Ford, Clulo & Luyt, P.C. in Traverse City has been appointed to the U.S. Courts Committee of the Michigan State Bar. He is a former U.S. Department of Justice attorney.
n Lee Hornberger, an arbitrator and mediator in Traverse City, has been reelected to his second three year term on the Representative Assembly of the State Bar of Michigan. Hornberger is a member of the State Bar of Michigan Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Council and Representative Assembly and a former president of the Grand Traverse-Leelanau-Antrim Bar Association.
n Christie Dompierre, former marketing and youth education coordinator for TBA Credit Union, has been promoted to marketing director. In this role, Dompierre will lead the marketing department and oversee company branding, strategic and communication planning and supervision of the Student-Run Credit Union Program.
n Steve Kermode has been promoted to vice president of retail and recreation at Crystal Mountain in Thompsonville. Kermode began his career with Crystal’s snowmaking crew in 1977 and has held various positions in the years since including lodge manager, director of sales, director of golf, director of ski racing, snow sports instructing and ski patrolling.
