---- — LANSING (AP) — Michigan Lt. Gov. Brian Calley and a delegation of state and local officials, business people and economic development experts have met with executives of Dow Chemical Co.’s unit in the Netherlands.
Calley and the others left Michigan on Saturday for a six-day trade mission to the Netherlands. They return Friday.
Other participants include Michigan House Speaker House Jase Bolger, state Sen. Arlan Meekhof and Michigan agriculture Director Jamie Clover Adams.
Calley’s office in Lansing said Monday that the lieutenant governor also met with officials from the Zeeland provincial government. And it says he participated in the Holland America Friendship Foundation’s annual Night of the Stars Gala in The Hague.
The mission is a project of the West Michigan Global Initiative and other groups.
