New webinar

EAST LANSING — The North Central Regional Center for Rural Development at Michigan State University has slated another webinar in its Innovations in Agriculture and Rural Development series.

“New Poultry Vaccine Tech: Leadership for Advanced Responses to Animal Disease” will be presented at 12:30 p.m. May 14 by Daral Jackwood, food animal health research professor at Ohio State University. Jackwood will discuss the challenges related to poultry vaccines and present a solution that his new venture, Leadership for Advanced Responses to Animal Diseases, is employing by using virus-like-particle vaccines and diagnostics drawing on molecular technology. This is an opportunity to learn more about the technology, the new venture and potential investment into biotech.

The free webinar series is designed for business owners, entrepreneurs and other interested professionals in agriculture and related industries to learn more about land-grant-university-developed technology that may be relevant to their current or future business operations.
