Ribbon cutting

BELLAIRE — A ribbon cutting will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday for T & T Power Sports, 637 Willow Drive, a new member of the Bellaire Chamber of Commerce. The business provides service and repair on ATVs, jet skis, trailers and more.


Small business class

BENZONIA — Grow Benzie will offer an “Insurance for Your Small Business” class on Wednesday, May 14.

The class will meet at 6 p.m. at Grow Benzie, 5885 M-115. Joel Bowman from Bear Lake Insurance Agency will discuss general liability and product liability insurance and questions to ask when looking for a policy. The class will focus on food product businesses, but much of the material will be applicable to other businesses.

ELK RAPIDS — The Elk Rapids Area Business Breakfast Club will meet at the Elk Harbor Restaurant Thursday at 7:45 a.m. Amanda Blondeau will give a presentation on free, online marketing.

Children’s Therapy Corner open house

TRAVERSE CITY — Children’s Therapy Corner will host an open house at its new location, 1810 Chartwell Drive, near Centre Ice.

Owner/director Janet Ringle-Bartels opened Children’s Therapy Corner in Midland in 1997, Traverse City in 2005 and Okemos in 2013. The professional staff of speech, occupational, physical and music therapists are pediatric specialists serving clients with a variety of needs.

College savings presentations

BELLAIRE — Financial adviser Robert Joyce, of Edward Jones Investments, is hosting free presentations on college savings on Monday at 10:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Presentations will cover investing to reach a college savings goal, investment strategies and the features of college savings plans.
