Buffalo Ridge Center moves forward

TRAVERSE CITY — The Garfield Township Planning Commission voted to recommend the town board approve a proposed redevelopment of the Horizon Outlet Mall.

The vote came at the planning commission’s Wednesday meeting. The proposed redevelopment, named the Buffalo Ridge Center, would include a 14-screen movie theater.

Township Supervisor Chuck Korn said the board likely will vote on the redevelopment at their meeting on July 22.
