LAKE LEELANAU — The Leelanau Peninsula Chamber of Commerce is holding its next Business After Hours Thursday at 5:30 p.m. at Bella Fortuna North.

Stroke survivor performance

Short’s completes bottling line

BELLAIRE — Short’s Brewing Company finished its new bottling and packaging line at its Elk Rapids production brewery. The $1.55 million equipment can fill 150 bottles per minute. The brewery will offer a new beer, a session IPA called Prolonged Enjoyment. Short’s adopted the state’s future minimum wage, set to raise to $9.25 per hour in 2018, for all its employees.
