Home for Elf Café

TRAVERSE CITY — Elf Café, a family friendly café and play space slated to open next May, has found a tentative location in central Traverse City. The Randolph Street location that formerly housed Hampel’s Locksmith and Gun Shop and two larger lots next door will offer indoor and outdoor wooden play structures, a play area for infants, party rental space, soundproof areas for nursing, classes, tutors for older children and play groups.

Elf Café is running a crowd-funding campaign on indiegogo (www.igg.me/at/elfcafe) where supporters can contribute to the project in exchange for Elf Café bumper stickers, T-shirts, memberships, and more. The campaign ends at midnight on Nov. 15.
