n TBA Credit Union announced that Jasmine Birgy joined the loan department as a loan processor. In her previous role with TBACU she was a member service representative at the Bay Street Branch.

n Haley Breniser is the new executive director of the Grass River Natural Area. James Dake has been named the educational director.

n Bill Milliken Jr. and Jennifer Blakeslee are new members of the Michigan Land Use Institute’s board of directors.

Milliken is a longtime real estate agent in Ann Arbor, at Milliken Realty. He also serves on the board of directors of New Detroit and the Washtenaw Community College Foundation.

Blakeslee is chef and co-owner of The Cook’s House restaurant in Traverse City. She brings to MLUI her expertise in the local food movement and farm-to-school efforts.

n 45th Parallel Realty announced that Jodi Poikey is now working at the Elk Rapids office as a licensed assistant to Toni Morrison. Morrison recently was awarded the Platinum Service Recognition from Quality Service Certified. This award is in recognition of earning 100 percent client service satisfaction in 2013 as measured by Leading Research Corporation.

n Kent Strawderman joined the sales force of Thomas and Milliken Millwork.
