nA veteran bowling and hospitality industry manager, Matt Schauman, will head Tucker’s of Northport bowling operation, a new family dining and entertainment center.

nMeghan Elliott will join the loan department at TBA Credit Union as a member service specialist.

nTerrapin Networks hired Grant Putala, initially brought in as an intern, as a network engineer on the Tech Services team.

nDiane Koch, who serves TBA Credit Union as an accounting representative, was their 2013 Employee of the Year. Candidates for the Employee of the Year Award are nominated by peers and chosen based on team cooperation, attitude, community involvement and leadership.

New practice

nSharon Olson Ph.D., nurse practitioner, announced a new Nurses Ecological Education and Wellness Center. Her professional focus is to teach and promote Eco-Nursing, examining three interconnected environments that impact wellness for nurses and patients in their care. She also offers an approved 12 credit continuing education course entitled Ecological Wellness for Nurse Educators- Re-Visioning Soul to Role. Her office is located at 13795 Seven Hills Road, Suite L.


nBowers Harbor Vineyards won gold medals for their 2012 Block II Riesling and 2012 Medium Dry Riesling at the International Eastern Wine Competition.

In addition, they won silver medals for their 2012 Riesling, Medium Sweet; 2012 Riesling, Smokey Hollow Vineyard and 2012 Riesling, Langley Vineyard (Late Harvest).
