n North Country Community Mental Health recently recognized several employees.
David Baker received the Achievement Award, which recognizes exemplary service or extraordinary performance. Baker is a case manager for individuals with a mental illness and works out of the Charlevoix office.
The Team Achievement Award, which recognizes great team work and excellent services, went to the Petoskey Administrative Team. The team members are Christine Gebhard, Karen Bagwell, Jan Smith, Sean Burke, Susan Thurston, Karan Bingham, Laura Brunmeier and Linda Kleiber.
Jan Smith, assistant director of administrative services at the Bellaire office, was recognized for 35 years of service.
Other employees recognized were Alison Reed, from the Gaylord Developmental Disabilities Services office, for 30 years of service; Julie Moran and Jack Londick, from the Bellaire office, and Cathleen Behan-Harvey, from the Petoskey office, for 25 years of service; Suzan Petee-Eubank and Donna Wixon, from the Gaylord offices, Lynn Hershberger, from Rapid City, and Jama Moffett, from Petoskey, for 20 years of service; Wayne Roisen, Carla Miller and Mary Cosens, from Petoskey, Jennifer Hunt, Janelle Kassien, Beverly Fyan and Tiffany Hawley, from the Gaylord sites, and Ruth Lenz, from Rapid City, for 10 years of service.
n The Little Traverse Association of Home Builders (LTAHB) recently announced their officers and board of directors have been formally sworn in and have assumed their positions for 2014. While the association employs a full time Executive Officer Scott Herceg to run day to day operations, it is the all-volunteer board of directors that is charged with the governance of the local association. Assuming the role of association president for 2014 is Scott Gwizdala, general manager of ProBuild North in Petoskey. Joining Gwizdala as officers of the board are Vice President Carl Wagar of Wagar Builders, Secretary Christine Cole of DTE and Adam Caron CPA of Rasmussen, Teller, O’Neil & Christman, P.C.
