n Matthew Hanley, of Traverse City, joined the Traverse City law firm of Dingeman & Dancer. Admitted to practice law in the state of Illinois in 2010 and in the state of Michigan in 2012, Hanley previously was an extern for former Michigan Supreme Court Justice Elizabeth A. Weaver and also served as a law clerk for the United States Department of Justice and for CafePress. He will practice in the areas of healthcare law and civil litigation.
n Robin Wybenga was appointed to the Michigan Board of Real Estate Appraisers on Jan. 28. Wybenga will serve the remainder of a four-year term expiring June 30, 2016. Her appointment is subject to the advice and consent of the state Senate. Created in 1991 and housed within the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs, the nine-member board licenses and regulates the service of more than 6,000 real estate appraisers.
n Rex Hite will be joining Shoreline Fruits’ sister company, Shoreline Fruit Growers, as the general manager and director of financial operations. Hite has held a number of high-level financial positions in the banking, aerospace, automotive and insurance industries. He has worked in various capacities within Shoreline Fruit, LLC, most recently as controller.
n Kori Chrestensen has been promoted to senior accounting manager for Shoreline Fruit, LLC. Chrestensen will be managing and supporting the tax, financial operations and budgeting functions for the company. She joined Shoreline Fruit in 2010 and started as accounting and payroll assistant, then moved to financial operations manager at the Shorelines’ Michigan plant in Yuba, most recently serving as financial operations coordinator.
n Mandi Twining has joined Shoreline Fruit, LLC as the executive administrative assistant. Twining has more than 14 years of executive assistant and office management experience. She most recently held the position of executive assistant to both the chief executive officer and chief strategy officer at Riester in Phoenix, Ariz.
