n Jeremy Martinchek recently joined the condo/homeowner association management team at Schmidt-Rogers Management of Traverse City. He currently serves as president of the Grand Traverse Area Hospitality Association.

n Linda Fisher, owner of Cardinal Insurance Group (formerly Fisher Agency, Inc., Acme), recently was elected by her fellow Independent Insurance Agents to serve a three-year term on the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents State Board of Directors.

n Traverse City attorney Lawrence LaSusa received a Certificate of Completion from the Institute of Continuing Legal Education Probate and Estate Planning Program, an extensive training program presented by a faculty of leading probate experts teaching the most current law and procedures of estate planning and probate administration.

n Coldwell Banker Schmidt Realtors in Traverse City added agents Elizabeth Hunter, Jim McCormick, Barb Krueger, Eric Davidek and father-and-daughter team Rick and Erika Korndorfer to their staff.

n Glen Lile, supervisor of East Bay Charter Township, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Michigan Township Participating Plan.


n East Bay Medical - Drug and Alcohol Testing & Occupational Medicine has moved to 6100 US 31 N just north of M72 in Acme. Dr. David May is available for DOT and pre-employment physicals on Monday, Tuesday and Friday. Drug testing hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-noon and 1-5 p.m. Call 938-7968.
