n Rotary Charities will welcome Joe Liszewski as the new NorthSky Nonprofit Network program director. Liszewski has more than 13 years of experience with nonprofits of all sizes and most recently served as the executive director of California ReLeaf, a statewide nonprofit association focused on urban forestry.

n The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification announced that Troy Crandall, Tyler Doehring, Brad Fisher, Andrew Niedzwiecki, Doug Osborne, Dillon Osborne, Tony Pettinato and Steve St. Germain of Stanley Steemer of Northwest Michigan, Inc. in Traverse City and Gaylord have qualified by education and examination as certified water restoration technicians.

n Dr. Kimberly Augenstein, of Neuromuscular & Rehabilitation Associates of Northern Michigan (NRA), recently returned from several weeks in Kijabe, Kenya, evaluating children with disabilities and teaching therapists and orthopedic residents at the CURE International Hospital of Kenya. This was Dr. Augenstein’s 12th trip with CURE.

n Honor Bank has announced a partnership with local financial services firm, Legacy Financial Services Group, Inc. Legacy advisor, Kelly Kazmierski, will be servicing the Honor Bank community and its customers.

n Ronald F. Phillips Jr., office manager of the Traverse City branch of PMP Personnel Service, Inc., recently obtained his certification as a Certified Temporary Staffing Specialist (CTS) through the National Association of Personnel Services (NAPS). CTS certification is the only national designation recognized globally by the personnel services and staffing industry.

n Terri Jo Umlor, of Wexford County, has been appointed by Gov. Rick Snyder to serve on the Michigan Strategic Fund Board of Directors. Umlor is chief financial officer and director of human resources for Springfield Inc.
