She specializes in property sales throughout the region. -- Carmen Stevens has been hired as community relations and communications manager for Hagerty Insurance. Stevens will manage philanthropic and public relations efforts. -- Jayson Allen has been hired as senior manager of Web marketing for Hagerty Insurance. He will be responsible for the development and management of Hagerty's internet and media marketing strategy. -- Joshua E. Reynolds has succeeded his father, James Reynolds, of Suttons Bay, as president of Gray & Company, the world's largest producer of maraschino cherries, based in Forest Grove, Ore. James Reynolds will continue to oversee the company's Michigan manufacturing operations. -- Jeff Needham has joined Farm Bureau Insurance at the Traverse City office at 540 S. Garfield. He recently trained at the company's agent career school in Lansing, and previously worked for a home improvement company. Expansion -- Ironkeep Technologies, a local fiber-optic-based, ultra-high-speed remote computer data storage company, now has more online storage than any internet service provider (ISP) north of Grand Rapids. With the recent addition of a new 20 Terabyte network attached storage system, the company and its more than 300 clients have at their disposal virtually unlimited storage capacity for web and e-mail hosting, as well as backup and disaster recovery. Certification -- Mary Ann Lorenzen, of the Ford Insurance Agency of Traverse City, has earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation from The Michigan Association of Insurance Agents on behalf of the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Lorenzen successfully completed a series of five examinations covering all major areas of the insurance field. Recognition -- The Grand Traverse Area Jaycees and its president, Sonja Morton, were named a Top 3 chapter and president in the Parade of Chapters by the Michigan Jaycees at their second quarter convention in Troy. The Parade of Chapters is a competition with other chapters across the state, based on chapter membership management and how well a chapter has served its community during the quarter. -- The Home Builders Association of Grand Traverse Area, Inc. recently received the 2007 Association Excellence Award at the annual EOC Conference held in Providence, R.I. Executive Officer Kathy Maisonville was presented the national award, which recognized the association for "Extraordinary Contributions to Association Management in the Field of Association Operations Programming" for associations of 500-750 members.
