MANCELONA A community forum featuring state and local economic development staffers will be held May 12 at 7 p.m. at the Mancelona High School Commons.
The meeting is to explore employment options for close to 300 workers impacted by the pending closure of the Dura Automotive plant in Mancelona. It will include representatives from various state and federal employment agencies including Michigan Works!, the Michigan Economic Development Corp., the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance and the Michigan Small Business and Technology Development Center.
