Two schools are on lockdown after a domestic dispute.

Traverse City Area Public Schools’ Blair Elementary School and West Middle School are on lockdown this morning after an incident within Blair's attendance area this morning, TCAPS spokeswoman Alison Arnold said.

Police notified school officials of a dispute, so school officials decided to transport Blair students to East and West Middle schools. The dispute may have involved a weapon, Arnold said. TCAPS also locked down West Middle School as a precaution, Arnold said.

Police have yet to release information on the incident.
