Dr. Paul Callaghan, PsyD, has been appointed by Tendercare Traverse City as program director of its "Living Moments" program, which is designed to provide clinical and supportive services to those living with Alzheimer's or another form of dementia.
Callaghan is a neuropsychologist providing consultive, treatment, assessment and neuropsychological testing to Munson Medical Center's Geriatric Assessment Clinic, Inpatient Rehabilitation Service, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Chronic Pain Clinic and Occupational Health Services.
He also is the clinical director of the "Train Your Brain" program at Munson's Memory and Attention Training Center.
Eilisia G. Schwarz, a McBain attorney, is co-author of a report titled "Barriers to Domestic Violence Prosecution" published in the March edition of the Michigan Family Law Journal.
Schwarz serves as liaison to the Domestic Violence section of the State Bar of Michigan, and is on the Board of Directors of OASIS/Family Resource Center, which serves Wexford and Missaukee counties.
Bonnie Gaiser, an employee of the AuSable Free Clinic in Grayling and administrator of its Medication Access Program, received the "Together We Can" Award from the Central Michigan District Health Department in recognition of her exceptional work with the uninsured in the Medication Access Program.
The program helps qualifying patients apply to pharmaceutical companies for discounts in medications that have been prescribed by their primary care provider.
