GAYLORD — Divine Mercy Sunday, a day of thanksgiving for God’s goodness in the Easter mystery, will be observed on Sunday, April 7.

Sister Maria Faustina Kowalski, a sister of Our Lady of Mercy, at a convent in Plock, Poland, received a vision of Jesus on Feb. 22, 1931. Divine Mercy Holy Hour will start at 3 p.m. at St. Mary Cathedral. A bus will leave Traverse City at 1 p.m. from the St. Francis Catholic Church parking lot on South Union St. It will return to Traverse City by 7 p.m. Donations for gas and the driver are welcome.
