ANA-Michigan meets

TRAVERSE CITY — The ANA-Michigan, formerly RN-AIM, will meet on Tuesday.

The meeting and program will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. in rooms A and B at Munson Community Health Center, 550 Munson Ave. Diane Butler, RN-C, BSN, manager of Community Health for Munson Medical Center, will discuss “Community Health Assessment and Priorities for the Traverse Area.” A $5 donation is requested for pizza and salad.

Healing Hearts lunch

TRAVERSE CITY — Hospice of Michigan will host a Healing Hearts Luncheon on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.

The event will be held from noon-1:30 p.m. at Hospice of Michigan’s Bay View Center, 10850 E. Traverse Highway, suite 1155. During lunch, Hospice Grief Support Services Manager Kathryn Holl, and Spiritual Care Adviser the Rev. Ron White will lead a discussion of the journey through mourning and share coping techniques.

Singles’ breakfast

TRAVERSE CITY — The Single Adults quarterly breakfast Feb. 15, at Bay Pointe Community Church will focus on singleness and marriage.

Free harp class

TRAVERSE CITY — Marilyn Wares will introduce the tranquility lap harp in a free class Feb. 16.

Baker to offer BSN

CADILLAC — Baker College of Cadillac has announced that a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program will replace the existing Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program beginning fall quarter 2014.
