Fibromyalgia group

TRAVERSE CITY — The Fibromyalgia Support Group meets from 1-3 p.m. today in dining room #2 at Munson Medical Center, 1105 Sixth St.

It is open to anyone with fibromyalgia and/or family and friends.

Advent Wednesday

TRAVERSE CITY — Bethlehem Lutheran Church will host Advent Wednesday evening activities Dec. 18.

Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. in the fellowship hall at the church, 1050 Peninsula Dr., followed by a Christmas craft project for all ages.

A youth gathering starts at 6:30 p.m. with new youth director Melissa Lopez and Pastor Paul Busekist will lead a worship service at 7:30 p.m.

Hip info meeting

TRAVERSE CITY — Orthopedic surgeon Justin J. Hollander, DO, will discuss hip pain treatment options Dec. 19.

The free program will be held from 6-8 p.m. in conference rooms 2 and 3 at Munson Medical Center, 1105 Sixth St.

Dr. Hollander also will explain minimally invasive treatments that require shorter hospital stays.

Live Nativity

TRAVERSE CITY — Bayview Wesleyan Church, 720 Wayne St., will present its 40th annual Live Nativity from 7-9 p.m. Dec. 22 and Dec. 23, and 5:30-6:30 p.m. Dec. 24. Call 947-3792 for details.

Christmas services

TRAVERSE CITY — Christmas at Grace Church includes services on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Dec. 24-25.

Christmas Eve services start with a Family Service and Procession to the Creche at 4 p.m., followed by a Quiet Service at 6 p.m.

Nursery care will be available at both the 4 and 6 p.m. services.

A Festival Holy Eucharist service starts at 9 p.m. and an Evensong service with Eucharist will be held at 11 p.m. Christmas Day will have one service, a Simple Eucharist with songs at 10 a.m.

The church is located at 341 Washington St. Parking is available in the alley lot.
