NORMAL, Ill. —
Lake Erie's Russell Moldenhauer hit five home runs in the final round to win the Frontier League Home Run Derby on Tuesday.
Moldenhauer beat Jim Jacquot from Florence in the finals.
Traverse City's Jeff Flagg and Jose Vargas competed in the event at Normal's The Corn Crib.
Flagg was the last player to reach the second round with four homers while Vargas had three. In the semifinals, Flagg hit two more, but couldn't advance.
Both players will participate in today's All-Star game. Beach Bums manager Gregg Langbehn will lead the East Division squad. Fist pitch is at 7:30 p.m.
