Bums lose, 3-0

CRESTWOOD, Ill. —  Tyson Corley pitched a two-hit shutout Thursday night as Windy City salvaged the finale of a three-game series with a 3-0 Frontier League win over the Traverse City Beach Bums.

Traverse City had scored 26 runs in winning the first two games.

Corley walked one and struck out 10 in a dominating performance. Chase Burch had both Beach Bums hits.

Bennett Whitmore suffered the loss. Windy City scored once in the fourth and twice in the sixth.

Traverse City is off today but hosts the Road Warriors in a doubleheader, starting at 5.
