TRAVERSE CITY -- Gateway didn't walk John Alonso this time around, and instead of a brawl, the Grizzlies received a loss.
Alonso, who was involved in a fight after being walked twice on eight pitches when Gateway visited Traverse City last Thursday, hit for the cycle in a 7-6 Beach Bums victory.
Alonso doubled in the first inning, homered in a four-run second inning, singled in the sixth and belted a triple to center in the ninth to complete the feat.
It was the second cycle in Beach Bums history.
Michael Campbell and Brad Miller -- the other Bums player to hit for the cycle -- added three hits each. Campbell drove in five runs, including a two-run homer in the first.
Jason Kiley (6-8) threw six innings to get the win. B.J. Hagen picked up a three-inning save, retiring all nine batters he faced.
