Bums ink ex-Brewers farmhand

TRAVERSE CITY -- The Traverse City Beach Bums signed pitcher J.T. King.

King most recently pitched with the West Virginia Power, a Class A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. For the Power, King posted a 8-2 record along with a 4.67 ERA in 61.2 innings with 26 walks, 34 strikeouts and three saves in 31 games.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound right-hander was selected in the 22nd round of the 2006 MLB draft by the Brewers after completing his sophomore season at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, where he had a 2.95 career ERA and 10-2 record.
