SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Traverse City Bulldogs are 2-0 in the national home school basketball championships.
The Bulldogs beat Lighthouse Christian of Springfield, Mo., 57-47 Tuesday night. Ellisha Crosby had 34 points, 10 rebounds, four blocks and four steals in the win. Kasey Acton added 10 points and Rachel Crosby eight points and four assists.
On Monday, Ellisha Crosby hit for 30 points in a 52-45 win over a team from Abilene, Texas.
Crosby was 11-of-21 from the field, including a 30-footer early in the game.
Meanwhile, the All-Region and All-American home school teams were announced Monday night. Ellisha Crosby was selected first-team All-Region and first-team All-American.
The Bulldogs' Sarah Morrison was named to the All Region team, while Rachel Crosby and Acton received third-team All-American honors. Kris Crosby was named Regional Coach of the Year.
