Izzo keeps eye on Suttons Bay's Anderson

    London Burris scored 34 points to lead defending champion Muskegon Western Michigan Christian to a victory over Sterling Heights Parkway Christian in a Class D semifinal Thursday at Michigan State.

    Cadillac is usually a little off the beaten path for college basketball recruiters. Ben Simons changed that. The 6-foot-8 senior averaged 29.1 points per game this season and caught the eye of recruiters from all over the country.

    The McBain Ramblers, who face Melvindale Academy of Business and Tech in a Class C semifinal today at the Breslin Center, are just two wins away from a state championship, a feat last accomplished in 2002.
