Northern Michigan team wins in Adrian

In The Zone 131 traveled to Adrian and won the Wooden Bat Challege against teams from Michigan, Indiana, Ohio and Canada.

The team lost to the Indiana Bandits 2-0, but came back with an 8-0 win over the Commerce All-Stars, a 1-0 win over the Michigan Dodgers and a 6-2 victory over the Ann Arbor Travelers in the title game.

Against Ann Arbor -- a national champion earlier this year -- Kyle Zimmerman was 2-for-3 with an RBI triple. Josh Kloosterman pitched the win while Shane Kaufman got the save.

Josh Ledford was 4-for-11 for the weekend while Zimmerman was 3-for-9.
