Near vs. Far tonight at TC Central

TRAVERSE CITY -- The Near vs. Far baseball all-star game will be held tonight at 5 p.m. at Traverse City Central.

The Near will be coached by Traverse City West's Matt Bocian and Lake Leelanau St. Mary's Steve Plamondon.

The roster will include Tyler Smith (Elk Rapids); Devin Weber and Brad Rosinski (Glen Lake); Kienan Sutton, Ray Platts and Jacob Plamondon (St. Mary's); Kevin Maddelena, Mark Fortelka and Cody Wagatha (Mesick), Bryan Belanger (Suttons Bay), Matt Dressler and Joel Lints (St. Francis); David Coors, Scott Witkop and Grant Durga (TC West); and Jason Winowiecki, Alex Fancy and Corey Lundy (TC Central).

The Far will be coached by East Jordan's Pete Inman and Mancelona's Jim VanWagoner.

The roster includes Mark Michalak and Dan Nickerson (Benzie); Jared Forbes (Boyne City); Jeff Bruggema and Joey Youngman (Cadillac); Ryan Crawley (Central Lake); Kevin Lavanway and Darryl Bingham (East Jordan); Wade Luxford, Devin Gokey and Chris Tondu (Frankfort); Taylor Ciszewski and James Wagner (Gaylord); Eric Ferrigan (Grayling); Craig Miller (Kalkaska); and Greg Blanco and Kodi Balhorn (Mancelona).
