Bundy Brief became the first Traverse City athlete to play professional ball when the St. Louis Browns signed him up in 1912. This picture was taken about 1910 on North Division Street near the Greilick Factory, whichmade furniture. During the 1930s, Brief operated a gas station in Traverse City and its logo was two crossed bats. He also wrote a sports column for the Record-Eagle
