A high-tech car engineered by the Clemson University International Center for Automotive Research sits on display Thursday during the Center for Automotive Research conference at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa. The car is a next-generation Mazda concept vehicle and features a prototype chassis, a unique hybrid powertrain that automatically chooses front, rear or all-wheel drive, a load-bearing structure based on innovative sheet-folding technology and 3 + 3 seating configuration.
