Traverse City Record-Eagle

---- — ALDEN — Mr. and Mrs. Dominic Gorno of Alden and formerly of Grosse Ile, Mich., observed their diamond wedding anniversary on Sept. 5, 2013. They were guests of honor at a weekend celebration on Mackinac Island in September with their children and their spouses and most of their grandchildren and great-grandchildren, some traveling from as far away as Utah and South Carolina. They opened their own store, Antrim Antiques, in Alden and operated it from 1989-1999. They have lived in Alden for 26 years.

The couple’s children are Dominic (Karen) Gorno III of Brownstown, Greg (Patti) Gorno of Elk Rapids, Daniel Gorno and Jim (Connie) Gorno, all of Bellaire, Mary (Bob) Keedy of Petoskey, Jeff (Colleen) Gorno of Gaylord, Ruth (Michael) Allen of Traverse City, and Dee-Dee Gorno of Beulah.
