National Cherry Queen finalists chosen

TRAVERSE CITY — Four finalists were selected Friday in the 2013 National Cherry Queen competition:

- Caroline Asiala. Graduated from Bay City Central High School and attends Alma College.

- Audrey Prisk. A 2009 graduate of Traverse City West Senior High School and a graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh.

- Sonya Sayler. A 2008 graduate of Elk Rapids High School and a recent graduate of the University of Phoenix.

- Ashley Wade. A 2007 graduate of Lake City High School and a 2011 graduate of Central Michigan University.

The four women move on to the last round of judging during the 2013 National Cherry Festival, which runs June 29-July 6. Finalists also will serve as the court for current Queen Meg Howard during the festival.
