TRAVERSE CITY — The Traverse City Film Festival will show the Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis comedy “The Campaign,” festival officials announced in an email sent to Friends of the festival.
Director Jay Roach, known for his work on “Austin Powers” and “Meet the Parents,” will be coming in person with “The Campaign.” The film will be shown on Saturday, Aug. 4, at 6:15 p.m. at the State Theatre in downtown Traverse City. Tickets for the screening are $15.
Festival officials also announced they’ve added new screenings of two sold out movies. “Bernie,” starring Jack Black and Shirley MacLaine, can be seen Friday, Aug. 3, at noon at Lars Hockstad Auditorium at Central Grade School, and “Whole Lotta Sole,” with Brendan Fraser, will be shown Sunday, Aug. 5, at noon at Milliken Auditorium on the campus of Northwestern Michigan College.
