April 21, 2005Seedlings, shrubs yours for the buyingFROM STAFF REPORTSTRAVERSE CITY - The Grand Traverse Conservation District will hold its annual sale of bare root tree seedlings and shrubs at a new location. The sale, which started in the 1940s, will take place Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Traverse City Light and Power building at 1131 Hastings St. The sale includes 16 different tree species and nine different shrubs.
